We are planing a trip back to Mt. Whitney in August of 2009. We will be starting in Horseshoe Meadow and exiting out at Onion Valley this will be about 58 miles and we plan on taking 6 to 8 days. Baking all kinds of goodies along the way.
Our Mt. Whitney trip last year 2008 will be featured in Backpacker Magazine in the May issue page 23 reader trips. This is very exciting as we have been trying to get the message out about how easy it is to bake all kinds of goodies in the wilderness with the Backpacker Oven.
